Wedding Cake information
Please feel free to choose from our selection of delicious flavors. However, we recommend that you order only 1-2 different flavors. Your guests will want to sample all the flavors and there is a chance that you may run out of cake.
Traditionally the "Top Tier" is saved as the "Anniversary Cake". This is a general guide for the number of additional "Guest Tiers" you will need for a cake, based on how many people you would like to serve.
· * 25 to 50 servings = Top Tier + One Guest Tier
· * 51 to 75 servings = Top Tier + Two Guest Tiers
· * 76 to 125 servings = Top Tier + Three Guest Tiers
· * 126 to 175 servings = Top Tier + Four Guest Tiers
* 176 to 225 servings = Top Tier + Five Guest Tiers
Wedding cakes, are individually created to fit the bride and groom on their special date. During tasting appointments photos will be shown. Please call or email for more information on products, current promotions and custom options. Your first tasting is FREE! Each additional tasting appointment will be $25. An hour is set aside for each client, which has proved to be ample time to both design and taste our cakes. Often appointments are scheduled before and after yours so please plan to be on time so we have a full hour. Please keep in mind that cake samples are prepared specifically for your appointment. We ask for the courtesy of 48 hours notice if your appointment needs to be rescheduled.
If you received a 10% off promotional card, please specify this during your tasting. The discount will be given only if a contract and deposit are made, during the tasting appointment.
We do not have a general price list for wedding cakes because each cake is one of a kind. Most wedding cakes are priced per person; small orders typically, anything fewer than 75 servings are priced per project. We do not offer a pick-up option for our wedding cakes. Ultimately the price is based on the complexity of design, the time invested in its creation, the number of people being served and the ingredients used. Before you arrive for your consultation, it is helpful to have a budget in mind for what you would like to spend on your cake. This will give us a better sense of what we can design for you.
All deposits are date specific and are non-refundable. Wedding and Specialty Cakes require a non-refundable 50% deposit. The remainder is due at least two weeks prior to your event. Payment can be made by cash, check and/or PayPal. Cake orders placed with less than two weeks notice require non refundable payment in full.
